SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — An argument at a convenience store on Sunday, Nov. 2, led to one man being stabbed and the other arrested.

According to the affidavit for the arrest of 37-year-old Michael Zapata, a San Angelo Police officer was leaving another service-related call when he "observed a physical disturbance in a parking lot across the street across the street," which was located at 1850 W Beauregard. The officer told the investigator that he observed two males that appeared to be fighting.

The officer then saw Zapata running on foot away from the convenience store and ran south on South Harrison Street. The officer said he lost sight of Zapata after he turned south on Harrison Street. Other officers arrived at that area to search for Zapata. Zapata was found hid
