FOXBOROUGH - Is Mike Vrabel offended that another coach accused the Patriots of doing something nefarious to gain an advantage?
Sunday following the game, Falcons coach Raheim Morris accused the Patriots of simulating Atlanta’s the snap count which led to the early snap and 10-yard intentional grounding penalty against the Falcons after quarterbak Michael Penix threw the ball into the ground.
An incomplete pass ensued on third-and-20 which led to the Patriots getting the ball back and securing the 24-23 victory.
It also led to what’s now being called “Clapgate.”
During his Monday press conference, Vrabel seemed more amused than angry when asked if he was annoyed by the accusation. He thinks its much ado about nothing.
