WESTFIELD - Mass Maritime Academy football’s Evan Pierce plunged in from 1-yard out on a contested call in overtime to lift the Buccaneers to a 21-14 win in a heartbreaker on Westfield State’s senior day at Alumni Field on Saturday.

MMA improves to 4-4 overall and 3-4 in the MASCAC, while Westfield State is now 2-6 overall and 2-5 in the league.
