Armed police raced to a scene in south Manchester following reports of teenagers fighting with machetes on Monday (November 3).
A huge police presence was pictured outside a row of shops on Hollyhedge Road, near to the Benchill Metrolink tram stop at around 2pm.
A teenage boy, aged 17, was seen being bundled into a police van by armed officers following the incident which witnesses said left onlookers 'scared'. Others said a knife was first pulled out on a nearby tram.

"Someone pulled a knife out on the tram my daughter was on," one person posted on social media. Another added: "K***head with a machete just scared the s*** out of my cousin" followed by "fighting with machetes, loads of kids." View 3 Imag
