On Monday at 1:31 p.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Tuesday between 4 a.m. and 7 p.m. for Northern Worcester and Southern Worcester as well as Middlesex, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Bristol and Plymouth counties.

The weather service describes, “West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and some power outages may result,” adds the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
