Wind advisory issued for Berkshire County until early Tuesday evening

On Tuesday at 1:15 a.m. the National Weather Service released a wind advisory valid between 4 a.m. and 4 p.m. for Berkshire County.

The weather service adds, “Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 to 50 mph expected.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” explains the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.”
