WASHINGTON — Halloween chaos in Navy Yard led to a temporary city-wide youth curfew . On Tuesday, the DC Council will vote on whether to extend those expanded curfew zones for another three months.
The current curfew remains in effect through Wednesday. It bans anyone under 18 from being in public places or businesses from 11 p.m. - 6 a.m. The council will next vote on extending youth curfews for another 90 days, similar to what was in place over the summer.
DC Mayor Muriel Bowser implemented the current limited curfew on Saturday, after the scene in Navy Yard on Friday night . Police said a large group of teens caused disruptions, blocked traffic, and ran from National Guard members, leading to several arrests
