WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — Several Wichita businesses are feeling the impact after an eight-inch water pipe burst near Central and Washington early Sunday morning, forcing crews to dig up part of the intersection and shut down lanes.

On Monday, city crews worked to repair what they describe as a “big mess” — piles of dirt, cones, and blocked lanes now cover parts of the road.
