Sydney Turnbull, who owns a new Carl's Deli location at Findlay Market with her sister, is concerned about a shift in spending habits due to the recent suspension of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program payments.

She noted that SNAP recipients typically use their benefits to buy fresh produce at the market, which she thinks is terrific. However, the suspension of payments has left her worried for many families.

"It hurts my heart. And I'm worried for a lot of these families," she said.
