KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Three East Tennessee restaurants earned recognition from the prestigious Michelin Guide on Monday.

Knoxville's J.C. Holdway and Potchke along with The Restaurant at RT Lodge in Maryville were designated "Recommended" by the century-old restaurant and hotel guide as part of its inaugural selection for the American South, which included more than 200 restaurants across 44 different types of cuisine.

The latest honor for J.C. Holdway, located at 501 Union Ave, comes weeks after it was included in the New York Times’ list of best 50 restaurants for 2025.
