BBC Breakfast star shares 'sad' update after 'incurable' cancer diagnosis
A former BBC Breakfast star has shared a "sad" update after his "incurable" cancer diagnosis.
During today's broadcast of the popular morning show, presenters Sally Nugent and Jon Kay brought viewers the latest developments from across Britain and internationally.
They were accompanied in the studio by John Watson, who delivered the sports bulletin, whilst Carol Kirkwood provided regular weather updates.
Later in the programme, Sally and Jon chatted to former BBC Breakfast anchor Dermot Murnaghan. The 67-year-old served as a presenter on the show from September 2002 to December 2007. He's also recognised for fronting Sky News, BBC News and BBC quiz programme Eggheads, reports the Express .
