The mass stabbing on a train between Peterborough and Huntingdon on Saturday evening (November 8) shocked the nation, and frightened many Huntingdon locals. On Sunday and Monday, information emerged about what happened on the train and in the hours leading up to the terrifying rampage.
The attack unfolded on a train that was travelling from Doncaster to London Kings Cross. The suspect, 32-year-old Anthony Williams , of no fixed abode, is alleged to have boarded the train at Peterborough station at around 7.30pm.
Police were called to the area at 7.42pm and two men were arrested. One man was later released without charge, while Anthony Williams was charged with 10 counts of attempted murder on Monday.
