Local candidate campaigns are drawing to a close as election day nears in Gaston County and voters are headed to the polls.

Here are the top things voters should know when preparing to cast their votes.

When to vote

On Nov. 4, Election Day, polls will be open from 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
