Monday began with a ribbon-cutting featuring Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, attended by some 300 people, on the new roadway that connects the new U.S. 41 interchange to the new U.S. 60 interchange.

The roadway is intended to reduce travel times and traffic while bringing Kentucky and Indiana a step closer to a cherished objective: a new interstate bridge connecting Henderson and Evansville.
