From Kirkintilloch in Scotland to Billericay in Essex, the new stores will give shoppers more opportunities to shop at the supermarket.

The announcement comes as Aldi is investing £650 million across Britain through its store opening and refurbishment programme in 2025, with each new site creating around 40 jobs.

Aldi also recently announced it would be doubling down on its investment with a £1.6 billion commitment over the next two years, opening 40 stores each year.

When will the new Aldi stores open?

Aldi said its 16 new stores will open before Christmas, specifically between Thursday, November 6 and Friday, December 12, 2025.
