On Halloween , Georgia Department of Transportation released a list of southeast projects. This included several in the Savannah area either already underway or coming soon.

I-16 Eastbound and Westbound under Chatham Parkway Bridge will experience disruptions, with both directions being reduced to single lanes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The travel lanes will also shift. No reason is given for the disruption, but it will be active through Nov. 15.

Chatham Parkway Bridge over I-16 will be reduced to single lanes through Nov. 15 due to crews working on corrective items and upcoming polymer overlay.
