MUNCIE, Ill. (WCIA) -- A Vermilion County post office closed over the summer, forcing residents to pick up their mail out of town -- and they're still waiting for a solution.
People in Muncie said the postal service closed their office in July, and they now have to go to Oakwood to get their mail.
People in the village told WCIA that they got a letter saying the post office would work to find a solution but haven't heard anything since. Now, they're left wondering if anything will be brought in at all.
"We posted the building on the market," said Dale Wilt.
Wilt -- along with his wife -- are the co-owner of this building where the Muncie USPS office used to be. But as they tried to sell, they ran into some issues.
"We were having trouble with buyers being able to get financing," Wilt
