The Englishman (27) has enjoyed a meteoric rise in the game since he retained his card at the final counting event last season.

He was then suspended by the DP World Tour for three months in December, with one month suspended for a year, for betting on golf tournaments, although he did not bet on himself or on events in which he was participating.

He has since enjoyed a stellar 2025 campaign, winning the Hainan Classic, the Danish Golf Championship, and last month's Open de Espana to secure one of ten PGA Tour cards.

He enters the week second in the rankings behind Masters champion McIlroy, who will be gunning to wrap up his seventh Harry Vardon Trophy as European number one at next week's DP World Tour Championship.
