Resident Evil 5 has just received a massive fan-made remaster patch, and it makes the game look gorgeous.
Being a game from 2009, Resident Evil 5 is obviously starting to look a little dated. Don’t get me wrong, games from that generation still look incredible. But textures and models obviously weren’t built for 4K displays, so a lot of visuals look rather low-res on modern hardware.
While rumours of a potential Resident Evil 5 remake build up, one fan has beaten Capcom to the punch by releasing a brand new texture pack for the game that is available for free.
Created by Resident Evil modder Evgeshajk, this new 4K texture pack for Resi 5 overhauls around 90% of all textures in the game to look a lot more modern.
