SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) - Shreveport Police are asking for the public's help in searching for a suspect in connection with a shooting on October 29, 2025.

After investigating the shooting in the 4900 block of Kitt Place, an arrest warrant has been issued for Ardis Chism, who faces one charge of Attempted Second-Degree Murder. According to the SPD, Chism has previously been convicted twice for aggravated offenses with firearms, along with several narcotics-related convictions.

Chism is considered armed and dangerous. Those with information about his whereabouts should contact the SPD at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373.
