PHOENIX — Travelers heading to Sky Harbor International Airport on Nov. 4 may encounter a delay.
As of 3 p.m. Tuesday, the Phoenix-based airport was reporting over 150 flight delays among various airlines, according to the Sky Harbor website. The length of each delays varies.
Flight disruptions have been piling up across the country as the federal government shutdown drags on and staffing shortages have been putting a strain on airport operations, according to the Associated Press. The Federal Aviation Administration said last week that thousands of air traffic controllers had been working without pay for weeks.
