A college was evacuated amid an ongoing incident, police said.

Officers rushed to St Brendan's Sixth Form College on Broomhill Road in Brislington, Bristol, this afternoon, Tuesday, November 4.

Staff and students were told to leave while emergency service workers attended the scene.

Avon and Somerset Police had not yet disclosed the nature of the incident but confirmed no-one was thought to have been injured.
