Some ice cream bars have been recalled because they may contain wheat, an allergen, that is not listed on the label.
Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream has voluntarily recalled some Häagen-Dazs Chocolate Dark Chocolate Mini Bars “that may contain undeclared wheat. Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products,” according to a company announcement with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The bars recalled are in a six-count package with the batch code LLA519501 and a best-by date of Jan. 31, 2027.
The ice cream was shipped to two retail customers, Kroger and Giant Eagle, in the following states:
Kroger: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indian
