Two people were found dead in a vehicle parked on the side of a suburban road early Tuesday morning and police say they had "no obvious signs of injury."

According to authorities, Crystal Lake police and firefighters were called just after 5:30 a.m. for a report of two people possibly asleep in a vehicle parked on the roadway in the 700 block of Coventry Lane.

Authorities arrived and found a woman believed to be about 20 years of age and a man estimated to be about 32 years old "unresponsive and with no obvious signs of injury."

Responders attempted life-saving measures but they were unsuccessful and the pair were pronounced dead at the scene.
