HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) - People traveling in Muhlenberg County might face traffic disruptions.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) says after a one-week delay, a project to reconfigure the intersection of KY 176 and Merle Travis Highway, also known as KY 246, in Muhlenberg County is scheduled to begin next week with a slightly altered timeline. Originally scheduled to begin this week, the project was delayed when utilities were discovered within the project area.
Officials say the new Phase One of the project will begin November 10, with a month-long closure of KY 176 east of Ebenezer Road. During this closure, crews will be doing site preparation work, clearing brush from the project area and installing a new water line that will be outside the project area. If weather allows, the
