FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A 69-year-old Fort Wayne man has been arrested on allegations of child molesting, city police say.

Peter J. Hill has been preliminarily charged with one count of child molesting. He is currently being held at the Allen County Jail.

No formal charges have been filed against Hill as of 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of Plaza Drive on Oct. 1 for reports of a suspicious person, said Jonathan Cutler, public information officer for the Fort Wayne Police Department. A woman at the scene told police a male lured her 10-year-old daughter into his home and touched her inappropriately.

FWPD thanked the Indiana Department of Child Services and the Dr. Bill Lewis Center for Children for their help in the investigation.
