WIKY was honored as the Indiana Large Market Radio Station of the Year by the Indiana Association of Broadcasters at their annual Spectrum Awards. The celebration of Hoosier Broadcasters was held on Tuesday, October 28th at The Cabaret in Downtown Indianapolis. WIKY took home 6 total awards including:

Large Market Radio Station of the Year.

Best Investigative Reporting for coverage of the power outage at Evansville Regional Airport in January.

Best Pro-Radio campaign.

Best Newscast.

Best Digital Presence.

Best Continuing News Story for coverage of the car that fell through the roof at Bally’s Casino.

The submissions for the awards were judged by members of the Mississippi Association of Broadcasters to assure no in-State bias towards the selected winners.
