On Tuesday at 10:43 a.m. a wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for Harney and Malheur counties.

The weather service describes, “South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.”

“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” explains the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
