WINDSOR, England – British soccer icon David Beckham received a knighthood from King Charles III at Windsor Castle. He was accompanied by his wife, Victoria Beckham, a renowned fashion designer and former pop star.

The honor recognized Beckham's contributions to sport and charity. The retired footballer expressed his joy, stating, "It is the proudest moment of my life."

In 2015, Beckham launched the Seven Fund, aimed at supporting children facing dangers such as the Ebola crisis. He also serves as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
