RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The 19-year-old who sustained major injuries in a hit and run crash has died.

The Reno Police Department says the yet identified teen passed away Tuesday due to injuries sustained in the crash. His identity is pending release from the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office.

RPD says a white Lexus IS300 was involved in the crash and fled the scene when police arrived. Anyone who may have seen the car is asked to call RPD at 775-334-2677.
