CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - A man is accused of using a knife to rob someone and then slashing one of the victim’s truck tires.
Khelby Calmese, 38, of Cape Girardeau, was charged with felony first-degree robbery, felony armed criminal action, felony third-degree assault and second-degree property damage.
He’s being held at the Cape Girardeau County Jail on a $100,200 bond.
Calmese appeared in court on Monday, Nov. 3 via video for his initial hearing.
He requested a bond reduction, which was denied.
The case was continued to Nov. 10 for a bond hearing and counsel status.
According to online court records, at around 12:02 a.m. on November 1, officers were dispatched to an apartment for a reported armed robbery and possible stabbing.
