Here are the official polling hours for Election Day: • North Carolina: Polling places are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Any voter who is in line by 7:30 p.m. may vote • South Carolina: Polling places are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you are in line at 7 p.m., you will still be allowed to vote

Bring your ID

North Carolina now requires voters to show a photo ID when checking in to vote. Acceptable forms include a driver’s license, state ID card, U.S. passport, or certain student and employee IDs.

Find your polling place
