TDOT says a rock slide in Marion County is blocking part of Interstate 24 on Tuesday evening.
The slide happened near mile marker 137 in Monteagle, shortly after 2:30pm.
TDOT says all westbound lanes in the area are blocked until further notice.
The right shoulder is also blocked but the left shoulder is still open.
TDOT spokesperson Rae Anne Bradley crews are en route to clear the debris; however, it's unclear when the affected lanes will reopen.
