BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A 73-year-old man who contacted someone he believed was a teen boy for sex was found guilty Monday of felony charges, according to prosecutors.
Arnold Danielson faces up to three years and eight months in prison at his sentencing hearing on Dec. 4, according to a release from the District Attorney's Office.
In August of 2023, Lugo sent messages to a Ridgecrest police detective who was posing online as a 16-year-old boy in a decoy operation.
The detective told Danielson he was underage.
"Young is fine with me, just gotta be DL (down low)," Danielson responded according to the release.
Danielson described sex acts he wanted to engage in and shared explicit images, prosecutors said. He suggested a meeting place later that day and was arrested when he arrived
