SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – Spokane County invited its citizens to display a green light in the windows of their homes and businesses as a part of "Operation Green Light for Veterans" to show support for veterans and their families.

As a part of Operation Green Light for Veterans, the County Courthouse plans to shine green lights from November 4-11, the duration of the operation.

Operation Green Light for Veterans is a larger movement led by the National Association of Counties and the National Association of County Veteran Service Offices.

The operation is “a time to honor the service and sacrifices of those transitioning from active service; and encourages its citizens in the tradition to displaying green lights in a window of their place of business or residence from November 4-11, 2025,
