Jack Flaherty is staying in Detroit.
Flaherty exercised his player option Tuesday, Nov. 4, to remain with the Detroit Tigers on a $20 million contract in the 2026 season.
The 30-year-old pitched for the Tigers in 2024 − he was traded at the deadline to the Los Angeles Dodgers and won a World Series − then re-signed with the Tigers for 2025 .
