TWIN LAKES, Wis (WTVO) — Daniel Renteria, of Rockford, Illinois, has been arrested in Wisconsin after agreeing to meet up with a girl whom he believed to be a minor, said police.
According to the Twin Lakes Police Department, Renteria, 25, was using an online application to communicate with a 15-year-old girl and traveled to the area with the intent to meet, but was instead met by members of the Twin Lakes Police Department and taken into custody.
During the department's investigation, Renteria admitted that he believed the person he was communicating with was 15 years old and that he intended to engage in sexual activity with her. Police say he indicated he wished he had met the girl when she was 14 years old, so he could have taught her sooner "how to be a good girl."
