SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — A woman has been arrested and charged after a road rage incident that left a bullet hole in a vehicle in southeast Shelby County.
Chloe Blackmon, 22, was taken into custody by the sheriff's office Tuesday on Thomas Avenue in Frayser.
Blackmon is charged with attempted second-degree murder, possession of a firearm in a dangerous felony, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon.
The alleged shooting happened around 1 p.m. Oct. 27 near Holmes Road and Riverdale.
The victim told police a woman driving an SUV pulled in front of her on Riverdale, causing her to swerve. They exchanged words, and the woman in the SUV allegedly pulled out a gun and fired a shot.
The victim was not injured.
