BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A multi-day operation targeting suspected child predators in Bakersfield led to the arrest of four people, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
The KCSO Detectives Division and V.E.C.T.O.R. Unit (Violence and Exploitation Counter Trafficking Operations and Response) conducted an operation that started Oct. 29.
The operation was meant to identify and arrest suspected child predators in the Bakersfield area, according to sheriff’s officials.
Dylan Parada, 27; Clayton Dunnaway, 32; Celso Medina, 25; and Hector Chavez, 26 were arrested on suspicion of trying to exploit minors, the sheriff’s office said in a release.
According to officials, investigators found child sexual abuse material on several electronic devices owned by the suspects.
