LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville is encouraging fans to give back during Thursday night’s men’s basketball game against Jackson State.
Fans can donate nonperishable food and hygiene products as part of the annual Kroger Food Drive benefiting UofL students in need.
Collection bins, staffed by volunteers, will be located on the main plaza and along the Second and Third Street entrances. Before passing through security, fans are asked to place donation items in bags and drop them off in the bins.
The effort is part of a series of drives co-hosted by Louisville Athletics and Kroger. Additional collections will be held at the women’s basketball game on Nov. 19, when the Cards face Morehead State.
