A stretch of unseasonably warm weather continues this week across New Mexico. A couple of cold fronts will bring some dips in temperatures into the weekend.
More record and near-record high temperatures have been set across central and eastern New Mexico, with all of the record highs staying in the eastern half of the state. Winds are also a little breezy, mainly across the northern half of New Mexico, with a few wind gusts reaching over 30 mph. Once again tonight, winds will calm down and temperatures will cool off quickly after sunset. Lows will stay near and above average for most of the state though into Wednesday morning.
Another quiet weather day is on the way Thursday with more above average high temperatures. Highs may be a degree or two cooler, especially in northeast New Mexico
