With the slam of a gong, Cam McDonnell defeated cancer — again!

It was a moment his family and doctors and nurses have been waiting for, the end of chemotherapy treatment for the 9-year-old who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma earlier this year.

"I feel like I'm in a dream right now," said his mother, Jessey McDonnell.

His family can't wait to spend time with him at home after practically living out of hospitals.

"I'm excited for his to be home so I can see him all the time," said his 14-year-old sister Emma.

Hospitals are a familiar place for the family; this is Cam's second time conquering cancer. He was diagnosed with brain cancer when he was just 4 1/2.
