Opposition Leader Sussan Ley has declared she is “completely confident” she will remain at the helm of the Liberal Party through to the end of the year.

The claim has come despite Ms Ley enduring historically low polling and ongoing speculation about the stability of her leadership .

Sources have suggested that a leadership challenge could come sometime in 2026, ahead of the 2028 election.

Ms Ley went on a media blitz on Wednesday, speaking to ABC AM, ABC Radio, Today Show, and Sunrise, fielding repeat questions about the tenability of her position.
