ROGERS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — While Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits are on pause during the government shutdown, many parents in Northwest Arkansas are having a difficult time ensuring their children have enough food each day, so schools are offering resources to fill the gaps.

The Rogers Public School District wants to remind families and students about the resources it offers to ensure its students stay fed.

The district has free and reduced lunch plans, along with all students receiving free breakfast, which started this school year, and a drive-through food distribution pantry.
