2Man arrested in violent Southeast DC carjacking after dragging woman from vehicle
WASHINGTON, DC – A 24-year-old man was arrested Saturday after allegedly yanking a woman from her car during an early morning carjacking and then fleeing in the stolen vehicle through Southeast Washington.
According to police, the incident unfolded around 4:18 a.m. on October 25 in the 2400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE. The victim was trying to exit her car when the suspect approached, opened her door, and ordered her to get out. When she refused, the man forcibly removed her from the driver’s seat and sped off in the vehicle.
