BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) - YMCA of Southern West Virginia staff members have kicked off the organization's 36th annual Spirit of Beckley fundraiser event.

Spirit of Beckley is the biggest annual fundraising event for the YMCA of Southern West Virginia. The fundraiser is currently in its 36th year, and YMCA of Southern West Virginia CEO Jay Rist said the goal this year is to raise $150,000 for local youth programs.
