CLEVELAND, Ohio — Julian Sayin’s Heisman campaign has officially taken flight.

The redshirt freshman quarterback for the top-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes delivered a near-flawless performance in the Buckeyes’ 38–14 win over Penn State, completing 20 of 23 passes for 316 yards and four touchdowns.

It was his second consecutive game with four touchdown passes, and the fifth time this season he’s eclipsed 300 yards through the air. More impressively, Sayin now leads the nation in completion percentage (80.7%), QBR (90.9), and adjusted yards per attempt, making him the most efficient passer in college football by a wide margin.

The win over Penn State was more than just another notch in Ohio State’s undefeated belt. It was a statement game for Sayin.
