CHARLOTTE, N.C. – In things that rich people are doing this week, Tom Brady says his dog Junie is a clone of former dog Lua that died in 2023. The pit bull mix was shared by Brady with his ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen, and their children. In a statement, the football legend said, “I worked with Colossal (Biosciences) and leveraged their non-invasive cloning technology through a simple blood draw of our family’s elderly dog before she passed.” According to the Colossal website, the cost to clone a dog or cat is $50,000. It is unknown how much Brady shelled out.
