RIVERDALE — The parents who had been arrested and charged in the death of their 6-month-old son in October have upcoming preliminary hearings in Clayton County Magistrate Court.

According to Clayton County Court records, Antonio Pearce has a preliminary hearing Monday while Necolette Pratt has a preliminary hearing Wednesday, Nov. 12 and a bond hearing Friday, Nov. 14.

On Oct. 20, bond was denied for Pearce, who faces the following charges related to the death of his son Nnakai Pratt — malice murder, first degree cruelty to children, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, tampering with evidence, concealing the death of another person, unlawful disposal of a human body, false statements and false report of a crime.
