LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Voters in the City of Lansing have approved the Charter Commission's proposed revisions to the City Charter, which outlines how the city operates.
66% of Lansing voters chose yes, while 34% chose no.
The Charter outlines how the government of the City of Lansing is structured.
Some of the proposed changes to the Charter include increasing the number of City Council members, changing the years of city elections, and making it so ordinances no longer expire every 10 years.
